Sunday, March 19: Fourth Sunday in Lent
➤ 9:00 am - Sunday School: Badger Builders Sunday School class meets on the north side of the sanctuary. This quarter, we are studying about who it is that Jesus calls. For today's lesson, Jesus Talks with a Samaritan, we will be reading and discussing John 4:7-15, 28-30 & 39-41. This week's question to ponder: What obstacles could hinder you from sharing the good news about Jesus? An additional adult class, Manna, meets in the balcony classroom to read and discuss the Bible verse-by-verse.
➤ 10:00 am - Worship: From Ephesians 1:3-14; 2:1-10, Pastor Roger's message for us will be Jesus Leads Us to Our Best Self. Come and be blessed!
Wednesday, March 22: Choir Rehearsal
➤ 5:00 pm: Aspiring singers are invited to join us to prepare music for Palm Sunday (April 2) and Easter (April 9). We are learning two new anthems and some easy-to-sing Mosie Lister songs. We'll have one more rehearsal after this one, on Wednesday March 29. Sing for joy to the Lord!
MARCH MISSION OPPORTUNITIES:
March
Crafts
For this year’s Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, we will suggest items that you might purchase each month. For the month of March, consider buying “quality craft” items, crafting kits, etc. Bring your shoebox donations to the church and give them to Scott or Jessica, who will stow them away until our November packing party.
PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEE NEWS: Rev. Roger Strunk, who has served as our Pastor since April 2012, will retire at the end of April 2023. This presents to us an unusual opportunity to begin our search for a new Pastor before Roger enters retirement. In order to help the Search Committee, please provide your thoughts as they request. Thank you for your support and prayer!

2023 VBS: Coming June 9-11, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Our 2023 VBS program is from Answers in Genesis, a leading apologetics ministry that teaches the truth that the Bible is the inerrant and inspired Word of God, beginning with the Book of Genesis and a literal six days of Creation. This VBS, Keepers of the Kingdom, will help to prepare your children to survive in today's world.
Answers in Genesis writes: We are engaged in an epic battle for the hearts and minds of our youth. Every day, they’re bombarded with lies about who they are, who their Creator is, and where their salvation comes from. Thankfully, God has given his children armor to wear in this battle between truth and lies, light and darkness, good and evil. With this VBS, your kids will learn how they can be part of God’s kingdom through salvation in his Son and will be equipped with the armor of God to become Keepers of the Kingdom and stand strong in today’s battle for truth.
To enroll your child(ren) and/or to volunteer your talents to help with this life-directing VBS, contact Becky Landrum by email at blandrum@gmail.com or by phone or text at 765-532-0615.
